Consultation on the scheme began in May 2015 and will run until the submission of a planning application in May 2016. During the consultation neighbours and local stakeholders have been kept up to date with the project through letters, flyers and the opportunity to meet and discuss the proposals with the team at a series of drop-in exhibitions.

Past events

Most recently in April 2016, a two day public exhibition was held to show the local community Grosvenor’s revised proposals for Newson’s Yard following earlier feedback. The exhibition materials can be downloaded in the section below.

In September and November 2015 three workshops were staged to gain from retailers and residents further input on Grosvenor’s developing vision for Pimlico Road, focusing on ‘retail in the community’. The events were well attended by 73 residents and retailers across the three evenings.

In June 2015 a public exhibition was held to present the initial proposals and invite feedback on the scheme. In total 115 people attended over 3 days in June and 47 feedback forms were received.

Prior to this, the Future Laboratory hosted two presentations and workshops regarding the future “Vision” of Pimlico Road. The events were held at the Orange in Pimlico Road in January 2015 and were attended by 26 people representing 20 retail businesses in the street. The Vision can be downloaded below, under ‘Reports’.
